Testimonials
Fantastic pillow! So different than what I’m used to with prior Memory foam, MyPillows etc. This pillow ACTUALLY stays cool and has been quite supportive for both back and side sleeping positions. Have already referred friends
After suffering neck and upper back ache for more than year, and spending 100s on different pillows , I’ve finally found the one pillow to rule them all. I haven’t slept this well in a long time, and I don’t wake up during the night, having to toss and turn because of all the aches. Plus, the buckwheat fill smells really nice!
Love my buckwheat pillow, but I have to buy another one because my wife keeps stealing it!!
It’s the perfect size and gives my neck the support I was looking for. I feel a gentle, comfortable stretch through my neck while I’m sleeping, and I wake up feeling much more relaxed. I’ve been getting such a good sense of relief at night since switching to this pillow. Definitely happy with my purchase!
Love the pillow! It's different from other pillows. A little firm but very comfortable.
Bought as a camping pillow... It's the most favorite item I've ever purchased
It is a pillow filled with buckwheat hulls, the light outer shells of the buckwheat seed. Instead of compressing like foam or fibre, the hulls shift and settle around the shape of your head and neck, then hold that shape.
Yes. Open the pillow and add or remove hulls. More hulls give a higher, firmer pillow; fewer give a lower, softer one. Most people find their setting within a few nights.
Yes, at any time. Keep any hulls you remove in a bag so you can add them back if your preference changes.
Buckwheat hulls make a soft rustling sound when you move your head. Most people stop noticing it after the first few nights, but it is worth knowing if you are very sensitive to sound.
Side sleepers usually prefer a fuller pillow that fills the gap between the shoulder and head. Keep more hulls in and shape the pillow so it supports your neck.
Back sleepers often prefer a lower pillow. Remove some hulls and push more of the fill toward the edge that sits under your neck.
Air moves through the gaps between the hulls, so a buckwheat pillow doesn’t hold heat the way dense foam or packed fibre can.
Keep the buckwheat hulls dry and don’t wash them. Care for the cotton cover following its care label, and air the pillow regularly to keep it fresh.
Buckwheat hulls hold their structure much longer than most soft fills. Over time some hulls break down into fine dust; you can top the pillow up with fresh hulls to restore the loft.
Cover: cotton. Fill: natural buckwheat hulls. Size: approx. 36 × 13 cm (14.17 × 5.12 in).
